1961 impala original paint!!! dual quad, 4 speed, positraction 409.

Chevrolet Impala 1961 Description

61 impala sport coupe, built in los angeles ca. spent its life there till I purchased it and shipped it to Chicago in 2014. stillwearing its original paint that the factory sprayed on it. I replaced the interior last year with parts supplied by legendaryautointeriors inc. no pics of underside of car but the floors and everything else under carhas ZERO rust! no patches, hole, soft spots, nothing! trunk has original spatter paint that it left the factory with.the rust you see at the bottom of trunk pan is from this year when I got caught in a rain storm and did not know the weatherstrip was dry rotted and leaks, this rust you see is minor flash rust and I did not try to clean this up. other than thano patchs, no soft spots, no pinholes. only rust/rot is what is in pics! car was original 348 ci with a 3 speed on the column. at some point some one swapped in a 409 with a 4 speed. for you number guys the motor is a 1965656 truck block, with the 333 truck heads and a 881 factory dual quad intake. trans is a early close ratiosuper t-10 out of a corvette. rear end is as it left the factory 3.36 posi {thinP case}car runs, drives, shifts,stops great. manual brakes andsteering. windows roll up and down great. everything works on car as it should except radio. if you have less than 10 stars I will cancel your bid unless you contact me NO EXCEPTIONS! if serious about car please contact me for any details you need.
