1950 Chevrolet 1/2 ton short box Pickup Truck orig engine 3 window clear title

Here is a cool old 1950 Chevrolet 3 window 1/2 ton short box truck sporting the original 216 engine. It is FREE, but I did not attempt to start it yet. I have clear title in my name and orig ignition keys are intact. The truck has some rust but is very light compared to most on Ebay. Bed needs wood kit of course from sitting out. It has no tail lights so wiring needs work back there too. It has the great patina guys are now looking for to build rat rods.

Rubber gaskets are bad naturally. All the glass needs replaced. It has for some odd reason a later model passenger door w/ the vent window. Driver door says "Rath Construction Rapid City SD". Doors are rust free. Driver cab corner rust free, but pass lower corner has 1 small hole in it to the in board side away from outside of truck. Really minor floor rust toward kick panels (please see pics of floor). I feel a dent in pass side of hood. There is a good dent on driver cab just to rear of door opening....and same on pass side (see close ups in last 2 pics). There are frayed wires under hood where cloth is worn off, but appears to have new plug wires. I HAVE NOT STARTED TRUCK, so fuel system needs cleaned and brakes need rebuilt of course.

I have installed new rear bumper brackets and a new rear bumper. Running boards are really nice, but driver side has some pin holes in top surface. Grill lower 3 bars are bent in which I show you in pics. I feel some wavy metal in roof too near windshield. Seat adjuster cables are broken...and lower springs in really bad shape. Upper seat back could be rebuilt, but lower is bad. It has the deluxe heater. I have 2 new rear fender braces from LMC (see pic). Speedo needle is broken off, and mileage is UNKNOWN due to faded spools.

I will take Paypal if you cover their high fees for me to receive monies. It has no brakes and transport is up to you to arrange but I can be here when they load it. All 4 tires hold air.
