Chevrolet Camaro 1969 Description

We bought this car intending to restore it. That's a long process. After finishing a year long restoration of my hot rod Camaro I'm not sure I have the commitmentto see this one through. Before it's too late to turn back I thought I might offer it up and some one might have the desire I'm not sure I have right now.

Some of you might have seen this car on Ebay in January. That is how I found out about it.From what I can remember the previous owner telling me. It's a x11 car it has the proportioning valve down under the driver side floor and the welded on dual exhaust hangers from the factory. This is a real SS 350 car with a red interior and a 4 speed. The interior has a console with gauges a clock tilt wheel and an AM radio. The gauges all work as does the radio.I believe the 4 speed is a m20 Muncie with a factory hurst shifter. The interior is complete and except for the tears in the seat cover complete and unmolested.

The motor I'm told is a 1971 350 small block. It isn't original to the car but the 4 speed and the 12 bolt with 3.42 to 1 gears are numbers matching The motor runs fine since I tuned it and rebuilt the carburetor. In January the car ran but just barely. Now it goes down the road but it drives like a worn out Camaro. No power steering but power brakes. The tires are new. No exhaust on this baby just open headers. It actually runs pretty good.

The body needs front fenders doors both quarterpanels outer wheel houses tail panel rear valance and front valance. The cabin floors are nice as is the trunk floor. The car is mostly original paint. All the glass is intact. The heat works and so does the fan.Eventhe dome light works

I have a brand new rebuilt 1969 300 hp 350 like what the car came with. I will include that 2 used doors in nice condition and 2 used front fenders that need work but are savable if my buy it now price is chosen. I have the paperwork on the motor.

I'm not desperate just somewhattiredright now. I'd like to enjoy my hotrod and get the garage space back.
