Chevrolet Chevelle 1965 Description
1965 Chevelle SS very nice and original – I acquired this car in 2008 from the family that purchased it new from City Chevrolet in San Diego, A April 12th, 965. The car has 1 repaint we did in the factory original Ermine White base coat clear, ll sheet metal is original to car no rust, reat gaps, etter lines than original. The original interior was redone by Justin at JS Custom Interior in Salt Lake City, T. Justin at JS does the interior work for Kindig-It Design featured in the reality car show on the Velocity Channel, he Chevelle can be seen in the background in some of the episodes. The grill is a new NOS piece, he bumper are original to the car with a high end re-chrome, ll glass original except windshield, rip rail and glass molding are original parts to this car that I restored and polished no cheap Taiwan parts. I installed a fresh BBC in place of the original 283 which I still have if you want it – original power glide auto redone. The pulleys and brackets on the car are 1965 original remote PS reservoir and short pump set up and era correct, was not trying to make a Z16 clone just wanted it to appear as it would if original. Wheels are one of the last sets out of Stockton Wheel prior to closing down – 17x8 front and 17x9 rear steels with poverty style caps, ice original look with modern profile tires. Have ton of documentation on the car, riginal bill of sale, uild sheet Fremont CA, riginal owners manual, rotecto-plate, ervice invoices dating back to 1968. Car is currently titled and insured in Arizona with an original 64-65 AZ plate – right now I have the car in Salt Lake City, T. If you like 65 Chevelles this is one of the nicer ones out there and better right now than the day it left the dealer in 65 – please email with any questions. Thank you.
