1957 Fuel Injected Convertible, he first year for Fuel Injection in Corvettes! This is a very Late production car # 5998
built in late July of 1957. Beautiful Venetian red with Shoreline Beige coves, ll chrome is replated and very nice.
This points to being one of the last Fuelies of that year. This a 4 speed car with 283/283hp engine with Auxilary Hardtop and
new Beige soft top. Last owned by the owners of Menards stores and Racing team in Wisconsin.
Engine casting # 3731548 and pad reading F429EL. Fuel injection unit 7014800 which indicates LP (late production).
Heads are # 3731539 Distibutor # 1110914 Generator # 1102043
windshield washe, xhaust manifolds correct. To me it looks like a restoration block was used, ow many today still
have the original engine...
