1962 Chevy C10 Custom Fleetside Shortbed

Finding a true 62 short bed is rare, finding one that is nearly rust free with a quality V8 conversion is more rare. Finding one that has all that plus almost everything new or rebuilt that you can afford. Well that is nearly impossible but here it is!

Body - Fire engine red with flat white accents and nice chrome trim. Cab corners, frame, floor boards all rust free. Only minor bubble both front fenders where rear brace is attached. Minor Paint is older restoration but presents well. New maple stained wood bed done right.

Engine- Strong small block 350, ebelbrock carb and intake, HEI ignition, Accel wires, stock short block with, long tube Hooker headers into turbo exhaust.

Transmission- Jasper Pro built stage 1 turbo 350 with Promatic Hurst shifter

Suspension- Stock, torsion bars in front springs in rear. All components new or replaced. Drives great and tracks right down the road.

Interior- Black vinyl bench seat, all gauges work accept speedometer

What can I say about this truck? Its as American as John Wayne, Coca Cola and Apple Pie. Not only do I get thumbs up everywhere but many want to take a picture and share a story about a loved one that owned one like it. Truck drives out great. I would describe it as a daily driver. This certainly is not a show truck. It has minor dents and dings and is far from perfect but very solid. I have set a reserve price that is very reasonable and affordable...Trust me you couldn't build it for less.

Adding to address a few questions I have received. The list of stuff that is new is very long...Brakes are all new including lines, steering box and front suspension all new or rebuilt, all surrounding items on motor are new, fuel pump, alternator, oil pump, water pump, starter. Transmission is brand new (less then 200 miles on it) It is a expensive Jasper pro built, custom aluminum drive shaft with new joints. Front tires, rims, beauty rings and caps all brand new ( less then 200 miles). Gas tank and sending unit new. Yes this truck is ready to enjoy. What needs fixed? Weather striping in side quarter glass is very old but all other weather stripping is good. There are some wave dents on passenger side of bed that you can see at an angle but hard to show in photos. Dents are maybe 1/4 inch of less in depth. It would be something that if you couldn't live with would require a skim coat of filler and some body sanding. I will likely add some video of truck sometime this week. Again thank you all for your interest in the truck. It has the look and is a blast to drive.
