Also has a Narrowed 9" Ford Rear with 4.11 gears and a Clutch Type Posi Unit. The Car runs very good and does not lack for power. :) The car drives easy and mildly in Drive, or can be manually shifted and turns into a fire breathing Dragon with a push of the button that electronically opens the Headers. The car also features shaved door handles with remote controlled door opener on both sides. Rear wheel wells were stretched to fit the giant rear tires. Also has a fuel cell in the trunk, Four Wheel Disc Brakes, Aluminum Radiator, Full "Funny Car" Cage... As you can see in the photos, this car was completely disassembled and features a nut and bolt restoration that took 3 years to complete. Not counting labor, nearly $50, 00 was spent on Parts alone. Add in Labor costs, well, you get the picture. This beautiful High Dollar Pro Street Show Car will be sold at a fraction of the build cost! Very Low Reserve on this car! I'm sure there are many questions you may have. I will try to answer them as quickly as possible. The car is available for viewing in North Terre Haute about any evening. Approximately 600 miles on the car since restored. Every part on this car is either new or reconditioned original. I DO NOT believe this car was originally an SS, but am Not for sure. I also have no idea what engine came in the car from the factory. Regardless, this is a completed like new car ready to enjoy! On May-14-15 at 18:10:57 PDT, seller added the following information:I've had a few of the same questions come up, so here are the answers: The carburetor is a Holley 850 Double Pumper with Mechanical Secondaries. It has a Holley Electric Fuel Pump. There are Electronic Cutouts behind the Headers with a switch on the dash. When you push the button the plates open to allow open headers in case you feel like racing. Push the button again and the plates close, giving you a quiet full exhaust. The wheels are Weld ProStars. Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires, 31x18R15LT Rear & 26x8R15LT Front. I do not know the Horsepower or Torque numbers as it was never on a Dyno. I am confident it's over 500 Horse from the feel of the car when you punch it. It is an excellent running car that runs on PUMP gas and goes fast. If you would like to give a partial payment of Gold, Silver, or MOPAR Muscle, we can talk. That's all for now. Please keep the questions coming.
