1970 Z/28 LT1 Numbers Matching Considered by many to be the most desirable second generation Camaro is this numbers matching 1970 Z/28 with the high horsepower high revving 360HP LT 1 engine coupled with the Muncie 4-speed. Originally a gold car with black stripes a previous owner meticulously painted this car in vibrant Hugger Orange with Bright White rally stripes you see here. There is no evidence of the factory gold paint. It has the split bumper conversion to add even more aggressiveness to it coupled with the factory rear spoiler. The original single piece bumper comes with the car. All sheet metal is solid and appears free of rust. The car rides on upgraded 17" tourqe style thrust aluminum wheels wrapped in very new beefy tires. The increased rarity of this car is highlighted by the original numbers matching drivetrain. Checkout the engine bay that houses the famous 360HP/350CI high revving LT 1 engine with original numbers matching aluminum intake. That engine is mated to the 4-Speed Muncie M22 transmission driving the 12 bolt Posi rear end with sway bar. The car has power steering and power brakes. The black interior retains most of the original parts and patina. Fronts seats rug and rear arm supports appear to of have been replaced. The car has front bucket seats and center console. Exclusive to the Z/28 it also has the floor mounted gas pedal and 8000RPM tachometer. There is a small 3/4 inch tear in the rear seat worn front door armrests and gas gauge needs to be repaired if desired. All lights horn and wipers work. The car is believed to have 133xxx miles on it.
