You are bidding on a package of 2 cars.Both are 1968 Impala Fastbacks.
My funds and dreams are squashed. TIme to put these 2 cars into someones hands that can enjoy them.
1st one is freshly painted, ut poor prep work, few tiny dings were missed. However the frame and body is amazingly rust free, o signs of any major repairs. Solid body and frame. Appears to be all original body panels. Still needs interior. This car was build in Los Angeles, A and bought in Dallas Texas. Original307 V8 and 2 speed auto. Engine and tranny taken out to do body work. Power front disk brake conversion was just done. Work stopped on car do to body work not being up to standards. TIme to cut my losses and get this car into the hands who can do it all properly. Factory AC car. Pictures don't show front and rear bumper. They are included, ront bumper excellent condtion, ear bumper excellent besides one small dent. No pitting on either.
2nd car was bought for a rat rod project. 1 family (2 family members owned it) driven car. Certified stamped North Carolina DMV history of the car's NC history. Photocopies of bill of sale from dealer to the family. Stored in a tobacco barn since 1984 in North Carolina. Brought up to New York State about 3 years ago. Registered in NYS but never driven. Never restored. The body has a great patina that is mostly all surface. Only rust found is in the truck lip area (see pictures). Solid body and frame, ery amazing. All original. This is alloriginal, othing taken out besides door panels (still included). 327 V8, ith automatic. Engine removed and being totally rebuilt with mild cam, .8 to 1 compression. Just over 400 hp. This comes with the original auto tranny, nd also includes a totally rebuilt 700R4 automatic. Engine and tranny will not be installed because I'm torn what car should get the new engine and tranny. Thiis car also comes with an extra hood with less rust, ut great patina that is a close match. Inside storage saved the dash, ot a crack in it.
