Chevrolet C-10 1971 Description

No your eyes aren't deceiving you this really is a TON of truck for the money. For that kind of money you don't usually get custom paint a potent 350 under the hood and a nicely finished interior. Look closely because there are no tricks no catch no fine print on this one it's the real deal. It's always a neat trick to combine a vintage pickup with a modern look and the blacked-out look here looks so right that this truck attracts a lot of attention everywhere it goes. The monochromatic black finish creates a very sinister machine and it's easy to underestimate how much work goes into making a truck look this good. Every single part was removed prepped and painted to match and by using black they really had to work overtime to get the sheetmetal right. Add in a custom rear roll pan a stock grille with bright blue Chevy bowtie emblem and some shaved trim and the truck takes on a whole new persona. One glance inside the bed will convince you that it wasn't salvaged from some beater and it wears a fresh professional spray-in bedliner so you can still use it as a truck if you're willing to risk that inky black paint.Inside it's pretty stock but most trucks in this price range usually have tattered upholstery or some kind of cheesy parts store seat covers. Instead this one has nice reproduction pieces that replicate the original pleated pattern along with fresh black carpets on the floor a nice upgrade from the standard rubber mat. A painted stock dash panel surrounds the factory instruments and you'll note that the dash door panels and steering column have all been treated to the same blackout look as the exterior. A fat billet steering wheel is a nice upgrade over the plastic stocker but still has a familiar look that Chevy fans will appreciate. There's an AM/FM/CD stereo in the center of the dash and it's such a neat fit that you'll swear it came that way from the factory. The same is true under the hood where you'll find a great-running 350 cubic inch small block V8. Topped by an Edelbrock4-barrel carburetor and intake with matching chrome air cleaner and valve covers it runs extremely well and moves the truck with authority. Again there's a monochromatic look that matches the bodywork and given the way the spark plug wires are routed someone obviously cared about making it neat under the hood. There's no rust on the firewall or inner fenders since this has always been a solid southern truck and the same is true underneath. Power steering and power front disc brakes make regular driving a breeze and a TH350 3-speed automatic spins the 12-bolt rear end and it's still a great highway cruiser without ultra-steep gearing. And it sounds awesome thanks to headers feeding a new custom dual exhaust system with high-flow mufflers and tips hidden just behind the rear pan. Classic Rally wheels with blacked-out centers wear white-letter Grabber radials that are tall enough to completely stuff the wheel wells. With an awesome look clean lines and a strong-running powerplant this truck is ready to have some fun this summer.
