Since 1999 all full-size Chevy pickups have been designated ‘Silverado’, but from 1975 to 1999, Silverado simply denoted an optional trim level to the C/K pick-up - top-of-the-line. Our 1986 Silverado looks a lot different than those factory versions. This ride is a classic street cruiser, not a work truck. The exterior received a fresh re-spray of deep blue and silver in 2015 and it sits nicely on oversize (20”/22”) five-spoke American Racing alloys and wide radials. The Silverado option added a lot of chrome accent pieces in 1986 and they are well maintained and in good condition. The original blue cloth/vinyl interior shows little sign of wear and all gauges are working perfectly, as is the A/C system. Convenience features include: power tinted windows, tilt wheel, AM/FM stereo system and cruise control. The 305ci V8 was rebuilt in 2014 and delivers power through a four-speed 700R overdrive automatic gearbox that shifts seamlessly.
