Up for bid is a 1954 Chevy Pickup Project Truck. I purchased the truck as a Rat Rod project. but I am planning to move. so I need to sell the truck. The truck has a straight Six engine with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. According to the casting number above the starter (328575) the engine is a 250 CI engine. It has an HEI distributor. The truck has a new wiring harness with a new turn signal unit and brake light switch. It has a new grill. bumpers. tires and wheels. as well as an aluminum gas tank mounted in the bed. I was told that the brakes were re-worked all the way around; the brakes do work and there is evidence of new brake lines and hoses. The truck was lowered and appears to have an aftermarket front axle. The truck needs the engine hook ups completed. transmission cooler and driveshaft. I was told that the rear differential had been rebuilt and that it is a Dana 40. The truck does have rust. but sure looks like a good start for a nice project truck.
