Chevrolet Other Pickups 1946 Description
1946 Chevy Pick Up Truck, ruck is very solid. This is a complete truck that was running and driving before the motor was pulled with lots of extras including a Santay Visor, ew patch panels for the two bad areas on the cab, xtra rear fenders, xtra door, xtra hood, s well as some new parts. This would be a great restoration project or an awesome start to a Rat Rod, ersonally I was going to get it running, lear coat it and drive if the way she is. Engine parts and extra parts alone are worth 2k.
Cab has 2 bad areas behind the front fenders where they all go (I have the patch panels to fix) there is no other damage or rot on the cab.
Interior is nice, ash in good condition, eat is perfect!! Door glass and rear glass is mint, indshield glass is cracked but pretty cheap to replace.
Hood is in good condition with no rot or dents, will also include an extra hood. Grill is all there however there are some dings and areas in need of repair, ot rot though.
Floors are original and solid.
Frame is remarkable, here is zero rot, ot even any pitting for that manner, ou could wire brush this frame and paint it, ts that clean!!
Doors are real nice, o rot or dents (I have an extra drivers door that goes with the truck as well)
Front Fenders are in real good condition with no rot and a few dents, ear fenders were cut at the bottom rear however I have a very nice extra set I will through in with the truck
Box is fair with no rot but a lot of dents, riginal wood floor is still there however someone covered it with a steel floor, ox comes with an extra tailgate and two brand new rear stake braces, also have new bed floor braces I will through in with the truck
Engine is a 1954 Chevy 235 Blue flame Six, otor is ready to be re-assembled with a new cam, ifters, ush rods and a completely redone head with new valves and springs, ngine also comes with a brand new Fenton dual carb intake and a set of Fenton cast headers. Gasket kit for engine is included as well. I have a couple oil pans, few valve covers and lots of extra engine parts I will through in. Comes with a couple working starters and the original generator, also have the original oil bath air cleaner as well as an extra. I will also through in the engine stand that the motor is currently on.
Transmission is the original and was in working order before removed,I have a Borg Warner T5 I would sell to the buyer if they wanted it.
Rear end is the original and looks like it leaks a bit, have a GM 10 boltPOSI I would sell to the buyer if they wanted it.
All brakes and suspension parts are original with no rot.
Tires are brand new, ims were sandblasted and painted, will also through in a set of old school whitewalls that cost 150.00 on Ebay!! There is also a homemade spare tire carrier for the drivers side of the box.
This truck is a great start for anyone wanting a 42-46, he parts alone that are on this truck are worth the money!! Not to mention the extras.................. Please feel free to email me with any questions, ruck is located in Rochester NY, will not deliver however it is a roller that I can help get on your trailer, have a cherry picker to load the engine into the back of a pick-up. Clean Colorado Title.
OkI have recieved a couple questions,
Yes the truck does have a heater, am unsure if it works.
The running boards are rough, hey arent rotted however they do have dents and collision damage (I HAVE SEEN WORSE REPAIRED THOUGH), hey are just sitting on the mounts and are not bolted down in the photos. (I have a very nice set of boards I would sell to the winning bidder if they wanted them for 400.00.
The front clip was removed from the truck to pull the engine, t is on with a few bolts right now for transportation.
Driveshaft is still in the truck and looks like it is on good condition.
