Chevrolet Camaro 1987 Description

Up for sale I have a 1987 Chevy Camaro IROC Z z28 ASC McLaren convertible. This car is rare, ess then 1000 made in 1987. The inner door jam reads ASC "The vehicle was altered by Automotive Specialty Company in NOVEBER 1987 and as altered in conforms tmall applicable federal motor vehiclesafety and bumper standard in effect in NOVEBER1987." That is the onlydocumentation I have on it being an ASC car. Idon't knowif the ASC option was factory or aftermarket. I know some came off the factory like this an others were outfitted later on. I wish I knew away offinding out. Ford and GM had a ASC package in the late 80s. Most of you are probably firmillar with the mustang ASC Mclaren. The build sheet was under the drivers seat but is gone now. If anyone has more info please let me know. I also know the ASC cars came leather as Ihaven't seen another leather interior on here yet. But anyway, ar is a 5 speed and a blast to drive. a 305 5.0 motordual exhaust is newer. This car really has some get up and go. The car runs smooth and shifts great. Motor only has 121,XXX on it. Past 2 years about 500 miles was put on it. Car was recently repainted and it shines bright. It is a driverquality paint looks good. As you can tell the jams aren't 100%. I have brand new OEM I ROC side stickers that I didn't install.Tire and rims are also new. This car is power everything but the top. Top has 3 latches and pops down and up in seconds. The top is also new. T. I put newgaskets around the doors. Car is power seats, indows and locks. Seats are in good shape for an 87. Drivers seat has a small piece of tape on it. I have new glassfor the side mirrors in a box and a new wire for thetach because its not working right now, ts not frozen. The oil gauge isn't workingeither but everything else works. Has a factory CD player as well.I have a few receipts of past work that was done on the car and manuals on the car. Id give the car an overall 7.9/10, ts in very good shape for being 28 years old.
