Chevrolet C-10 1978 Description
This Truck has a 350cc - V8 Regular Unleaded Gas (35 Gallon Tank). nbsp; 4 Barrel Carburetor . nbsp; (350 Turbo)3spd Auto. nbsp; Posit rack Rear-end. nbsp; (Dual Exhaust Glass Pack). nbsp; Aurora RT02 Radial LT235. nbsp; ( 9'9" Bed )This truck is a Good Strong Truck. it still runs but I decided back a couple of months ago to go ahead and sale it to some that could take better care Of it now and fix it on up right! It does have a few problems 1. is the Fuel Pump loses pressure after it sets over night and you have to pump the pedal a lot at first to get it started in the morning but it will start before the battery goes dead (I have a new fuel pump for it). 2. The Transmission Pan started to lick a little so I got it fixed now it leaks ?? 3. The Plastic gear on the shaft of transmission for the speedometer broke and the guy put a different color one on so it goes about 5 miles per hour slower than it reads. 4. As you can tell by the pictures it has some rust it is mainly body wise the cab has some inside on the floor on each side all the way over by the wall and then around the bottom of the doors and some on the finder wells and a little in the middle of the bed of the truck where the frame is attached 5. Needs Paint job the person before me just made strokes! 6. I forgot to mention that the passenger door had 2 problems 1. It needs a new window handle 2. The Top hinge is a little pushed threw on one side on the door a quick wield should fix it. Outside of those problems the only things I have done is put rear tires on and it already has a Low geared rear end great for hauling or pulling. I Replaced the Heads and when I did. I put one's on with the over size valves for Pulling. I put a new Starter. Alternator. and keep up with tune-ups (Plugs-Wires) but may need a new one now. I put Ball joints and shocks on it and also put New 4 Barrel Carburetor. Radiator & Heater hoses and belts. Brakes and Calipers alsoThe Major work was the Transmission I had it Professionally Rebuilt and while I was at it I had a new fly wheel put on. And the Brakes don't have very many miles on them either. It came with overload springs!I Purchased the Truck 01/18/01. I was told when I bought the truck it had been a farm truck.
