Chevrolet C/K Pickup 3500 1980 Description
Here we have 1980 K 20. The frame was shortened. Has a strong 350. Start right up. New headers and starter. Transmission is a Turbo 400. Transfer case is a fixed yoke 205. The suspension is all from off-road designs. off-road designs shackle flip. shackle for the rear and their shackle for the front all grease able hardware. The Springs are from tuff country. All the suspension has no miles on it. There is a new 2wd drive steering box. The axles or from a 1984 Chevrolet M1008 military truck. Less than 40. 00 on them. I got the truck with 1 ton axles that had 410 gears. I put the drug up on blocks I took them out and I put in the CUCV axles. The tires you see in the picture have been sold. Will come with a set of stock tires. This is unfinished project. Little bit more work this would be one hell of a stout off-road rig. I don't have a bed for it. My plan was to tube about the rear. Any questions ask. truck is located in New Jersey if you want to come see it feel free. Give me a call if you like 732 966 six 8 four one. On Feb-24-15 at 03:38:06 PST. seller added the following information: Good morning. I have been asked a few times for more details on this truck. Truck started life as a 1980 K 20. Has a 350 Turbo 400 and 205. 205 was taken out and a fixed yoke was put in. Originally. the truck had a 14 bolt in the rear and a 10 bolt in the front it for 4. 10 gears. Got rid of the 10 bolt when I found a Dana 60 with 4. 10 gears. Then I came across a m1008 CUCV military Chevy for parts. Truck at less than 40. 00 miles on. I think it was 38. 00. These axles have 4. 56 gears and the Detroit locker in the rear. I put this truck up on blocks and I took the 410 axles out. That's about as far as I got. I did not drive this truck much. I drove it to where it currently sits. It did start and run great. The motor has an intake. headers and carb on it. New starter. I hook up a can of gas . The truck will start right up. All the suspension is from off-road designs. Good high quality parts. All new. I had a few calls about body parts. I have the fenders. think I have the inner fender somewhere. I will take a look. I have a hood and a steering column. The one that's in the truck is very worn. So I found another one. I do have a fuel tank for it. This should be a great off-road truck. It's very little to finish. I have too many projects I decided this is one to go. There is a hell of a lot of money in this truck. This should be a good start for somebody. I have had a lot of calls for parts. If it doesn't sell soon I will part it out. Any other questions. call me UPDATE: sold the cab. will sell as a roller or part it out. give me a call.
