Chevrolet Other Pickups 1956 Description
Up for sale here I have a nice looking patina paint 1956 Chevrolet 3200 long bed pickup truck with a stuck 265 V8 and three speed manual transmission. The 265 is stuck and the passenger side M/T valve cover is broken. It's missing hood side emblems. headlight bezels. engine parts. gas cap. antenna and a few small dash parts. The truck has some of the normal rust for these models in the headlight brows. lower fenders. cab corners. lower door hinge area and the cab steps. The floors and kick panels are pretty good and the roof is excellent. If the roof has any rust it is behind the galvanized panel above the mirror. There is filler in the truck as anyone can see but its pretty much limited to the front fenders and cab corners. The rest of the body panels are pretty good other than the drivers side door that has rust in the bottom. The four notable dents on the truck are the drivers rocker. drivers bed step. drivers rear fender and the passenger side cab right behing the passenger door (all pictured). The grille has a couple dings and the front bumper has a slight bend on the drivers side. There is some rust through on the drivers side inner fender. The hood is nice with no rust through that I could find. I put the hood emblem and hinges from a 57 Chevy grain truck on it because it was missing the emblem and the hinges were in rough shape. I also have a nice V emblem from the drivers door of the grain truck. The windshield is usable for a rat rod but has a small rock chip with some spidering on the drivers side. The drivers side glass could also be used in a rat but the rear glass is missing and the passenger glass is broken. The doors sag some and will need lower hinge work to make them easier to latch. The seat came out of the grain truck as well and the frame and springs are fine but the sheetmetal bottom has rust in it. The bed is about as straight as you can find and the tailgate is great but the front bed panel does have rust in it down low. The bed cross sills also have rust in them. The truck has the factory truck rear bumper instead of the heavy gauge farm bumper most of them have and it has an old accessory tag light that I don't believe would be GM but I don't know. The frame on truck is straight and rust free. It rolls and steers but thats it. The drivers rear wheel is the only one thats not stock. The transmission and driveshaft are off the truck but included along with some engine parts and a shorter on piece driveshaft. I don't have the keys for the truck but I have a clear current KS title that matches the cab and frame vin. This truck is a great project and is selling with no reserve. For transport quotes contact Ryan @ ASAP Transport 913-201-0133 or I can deliver it within 250 miles of Ottawa. KS for $1. 25 per loaded mile. Thanks and good luck bidding.
