Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1955 Description

Good solid 55 Chev for sale today. I have had this car for several years just never find the time to use it so moving it out. Not afraid to take it anywhere drives pretty well.I did not do any of the restore I just had a few things fixed and upgraded. It has seen several modifications to the drive train and substantial body work over the years it would seem. What I do know-It has had parts of the floor replaced or repaired. The trunk floor is all new and the fuel tank has been upgraded as well. You can see where repairs /modifications have been made to the body. It is not a showroom piece but a good solid car you can enjoy and showoff for years. It has a V8 chevy that from asking guys that know seems to be a 350. I can identify it more if you have a specific question not shown in the pics.It has a Borg Warner T5 transmission and from the casting numbers seems to be from a S-10 or Camaro. It has front wheel disc and rear wheel drum brakes. they work well but if you really get on them it pulls a little.I had a new aftermarket heater A/C unit put on it a couple years ago works well.I had a new wiper setup put on at that time as well seems to work fine.It has some bondo on the bottom of the doors and body panels there are a couple of small bubbles if you look close. It does have an aftermarket dash assembly and it all seems to work.
The interior is very nice. It is not factory but very well done and very comfortable. This car resided with a customer / friend of mine in Mexico for many years. If you look you can see the bill of sale when it was 1 year old being sold to a customer from a Chevy dealer in Tijuana. My friend said his uncle drove it every year from their home in central Mexico to California to visit family for many years. It has a clear Minnesota title that matches the factory door tag. The door tag is loose and in an envelope but it comes with the vehicle. It also has a tag from the Mexicangovernmentin the passenger door jam. I have taken pictures of the bottom of the vehicle as well and you can see some flash or surface rust on the main beams but it is structurally very sound.
Located in SE Minnesota it is available for viewing if you care to just send me a note and I will try toaccommodateyou.I have many more pics ready to email if needed. Happy to send them to you if you want. I do reserve the right to end the sale early for the right buyer so don't wait till the end.If you want a good car you can use to go to the root beer stand or grocery store without worrying someone will touch it this is it.Looks great but value priced so you can still have a little fun.
