This LS6 is documented with its original buildsheet and copy of the original title in which Truppi and Kling signed off on along with many vintage pictures and articles. The car was tracked down and bought by Ray Allen himself and after being restored Ray sold the car in 2006 for a record $1. 2 million. Since that time the car has been made even more correct with all hand painted lettering. correct vintage gauges. shifter and correct bolt on performance parts under the hood etc. The car was known as the "KILLER CAR" and went undefeated during the 1970 race season and ultimately won the NHRA World Finals in 1970 and Super nationals along with many other highly notable races. It was also one of the first drag cars to ever be shown on network television during ABC's Wide World of Sports race coverage. The car broke and held many national records infact the “Killer Car” ended Chrysler's domination of NHRA's Super Stock classes at the peak of the musclecar era.
