Chevrolet Fleetmaster 1946 Description
IF YOU CAN NOT PAY FOR THIS VEHICLE PLEASE DO NOT BID ON IT. I SOLD THIS VEHICLE BEFORE ON HERE AND THE WINNING BIDDER NEVER PAID FOR IT AND NEVER SHOWED TO PICK IT UP.This is a 1946 Chevrolet fleetmaster with the body number of 2750 comma, in excellent mechanical condition. The engine is the original rabbit Rod engine that came in the car. It runs and drives excellent. It has been converted to a 12-volt system. It has a new tune up on it including a new coil. The brakes are all new including new brake lines, wheel cylinders, rebuild master cylinder and new brake shoes. the drums have been turned. It has a new polypropylene gas tank on it. When the gas tank was replaced with the new tank, the gas gauge didn't work from that point on but did work with the old tank. I assume they never hooked up the gauge to the tank, but am not sure what the problem is. All of the problems with this fine car is cosmetic. The right Fender needs to be replaced or repaired. The previous owner tried to hammer out a dent in the fender with a ball-peen hammer and has put several ripples in the fender. It may be able to be repaired but think I would count on replacing it. It is missing one front bumper guard in the grill has a part that is damaged and can clearly be seen in the picture. Also the wing window in the left front door is cracked. The upholstery on the seats has been torn up and needs to be reupholstered. As you can see the car can use the paint job. There has been two brand-new wide white wall tires placed on the car there is three other tires that are in great shape that will go with the car. This is a fine running automobile that runs and drives very well. A $500 deposit will be required within 24 hours of winning bid. The remainder must be paid within 10 days prior to picking the car up. I have put a $3500 reserve on this vehicle. All floor boards and trunk area are all solid and are not rusted through anywhere.
