Chevrolet Blazer 1977 Description

This is a very clean rig! 3rd owner of this vehicle the original owner special ordered it in 1977.Has been garage kept and if not in garage has had a cover on it.This vehicle has 158,000 miles with only 62,000 on engine. My grandfather bought it from the 2nd owner in Oregon and drove back to Montana and never really drove it after that.
Body: superb shape! none of the typical rust issues: No rust over the rear wheel wells, No rust on fenders behind the front tires, No rust in the rocker panels. passenger door jam has a spot of rust the size of a pencil eraser.The original owner jack-knifed his trailer in the snow in the early 90s and dented the quarter panel, so he had the whole vehicle painted. The paint on the hood has bubbles under the paint and clear coat. the topper was redone a few months ago. when it was redone when they pulled the tape a spot of clear coat was pulled with it behind the drivers side door (shown in pics) there are some rock chips in the rocker panels. all in all very nice rig!
Engine: 400 cu in. Still runs strong and eats gas like a blazer. Edelbrock 4-bbl intake manifold and carb. after it sets for a long time (months) it smokes out the left tail pipe for the first min or so.The front oil pan seal leaks (typical for small block chevy)
Transmission: 350 turbo hydro rebuilt and shift kit installed. Shifts very good and strong!
Axles: stock full-time 4x4 running gear. Everything is solid, brakes are in good shape, factory tow package. New shocks all the way around.
Interior: original carpet is in good shape. Some fading and small tears over the wheel well carpet. Seats re-upholstered and in excellent shape! Needs head liner. Tilt wheel. A/C (needs recharged). Cruise control (needs repair). No cracks on dash! Door panels faded along top edge.
Extras- all new doors seal rubbers and tail gate rubbers installed - new side window rubber seals - new wind shield - topper redone by Montana Elastomers - electric door lock kit still in box - new spare tire carrier kit for tail gate - car cover (new)
