Chevrolet C-10 1970 Description

This is a '70 Chevy short bed, step-side pickup in that has been frame-off restored. It has power steering, automatic transmission, 350ci V8 engine.

Exterior:

New paint, has had the usual rust areas repaired with new, weld-in panels. The paint is 8+ out of 10. Very shiny, shows well with a very few dings and chips here and there. None noticeable. New bumpers. Window glass is all good. Windshield is new. The paint is a Chevy Hot Red. I actually have about a half a quart of it left. It is a very bright, not orangy, red. The inside of the bed looks very nice with walnut color wood floor. NO RUST AT ALL ANYWHERE ON THE TRUCK.

Interior:

Black and red bowtie seat cover with new seat foam, floor mat. New gauge bezel. Radio delete. New, smaller aftermarket steering wheel, really makes driving more enjoyable especially for larger folks. Good aftermarket seat belts.

Mechanical:

The engine is a fresh rebuilt 350 V8 that has been bored out to 355. Runs perfect. Has new wires and plugs with a tune-up. New Edelbrock carburetor with electric choke that works as it should. New radiator, electronic ignition distributor, water pump, fan motor, battery, alternator, U Joints, shocks, ball joints, brakes, master cylinder, brake lines, wheel cylinders…tons of new parts. Has flow master style dual exhaust that exits under the rear. No major oil leaks. It weeps a little out of the front of the oil pan overnight. Leaves a spot about the size of a quarter.
The transmission is a turbohydramatic 350 that works great with no issues. Shifts perfectly. Rear axle is a 3.73 ratio and operates with no noises or issues at all.

Tires are good Uniroyal radials on 15" rally wheels. Trim rings and center caps look good.

Truck hasn't been lowered. Stance is great. Parking brake works well.

All in all this is a very nice little short bed Chevy that is ready to enjoy now. It has ALWAYS been a short bed. This is NOT a shortened long bed. This is a nice driver quality truck that is very capable of winning local shows, I believe everything works on it except the windshield washers. That stuff is not even on the truck. The only other thing I can mention that isn’t almost perfect on the truck is the grill is dinged up just a bit on one side and the seat cover has a small tear in it on the lower right side that you can see in the pics. I am nit picking to even mention those. I have driven the truck quite a bit and it gets 14mpg city.
