Up for auction is this gorgeous. very rare 1972 CST K10 4x4 short bed pickup truck that has received a frame on restoration. A true head turner! You'll never pump gas without a conversation or drive down the road without a thumbs up. It is painted in the very desirable 2 tone Chevrolet Cardinal red and pure white with the double molding package. It is one of the best looking and cleanest C10's I have ever owned. The body is laser straight with all gaps between the doors. fenders. and hood lining up just as they should. The doors open and close tight with no sag. All door weather stripping. window rubber and window felt were replaced when painted. The paint is pristine. I would rate the paint 9 out of 10. and I have not been able to find any blemishes. The chrome and trim are in excellent condition with new bumpers both front and back. The engine starts up immediately and runs smooth. It is powered by a SBC 400 V8 with a mild cam backed by a 350 turbo transmission. The transmission shifts smooth and the truck hits the road well. It handles very tight and the power steering works great. She rests on a set of 16x10 Ultra Motorsport wheels with fresh BF Goodrich 305/70 R16 all terrains with 90% tread on them. The interior of the cab was also repainted and is stunning as you can see in the pics. All the vinyl has been replaced which included included the seat & dash pad. It almost looks better than it did in 1972! Overall. this is an extremely clean. good looking. reliable truck that is a real pleasure to drive. I just drove it on a 240+ mile trip 2 weeks ago and would get in it and go anywhere. If you have been looking for a very nice K10 4x4 short box.
