Chevrolet C-10 1983 Description
This very cool 1983 GMC C10 truck has spent all of its life here in middle Tn. The truck is RUST Free, has a killer stance, nice paint, crate 350, nice interior, new tires & wheels, and runs and drives great.
The suspension was dropped 4.5/6 with McGaughy's drop spindles & springs upfront, and DJM flipped axle in the rear ( no c-notch) and overload spring removed. New KYB shocks on all 4 corners complete the drop. The truck is super tight and rides great.
The interior is a nice mix of new and original and has remained in super nice condition . The seat was just recovered last week with a synthetic leather. The door panels, carpet, mats, and trim are original and in very nice condition. The dash, bezel, and trim has been replaced recently too. All lights, gauges, radio, and tach work as should.
The wheels & tires are brand new. American Racing Torq Thrust 20x8 upfront with Venezia 245/45/20, and 20x10 with 275/45/20 on the rear. I also added a 1.5" spacer on the rear to bring the wheels out to the edge of the bed. The staggered wheels, and aggressive tires make the truck handle really well.
The original 305 drivetrain was replaced with a new GM crate 290hp 350, and a new TCI 350 transmission and convertor. The intake, carb, and distributor were also replaced (not rebuilt) at the same time. The rear end was changed to a 355 gear with new bearings and seals. The entire drivetrain has less than 8k miles with receipts and manuals. Then truck runs cool, great oil pressures idling and driving, and sounds great with the 3” Flowmaster exhaust turned down before the rear end. The truck has NO convertors or any emission systems in place. The A/C was in working condition when removed for the engine swap but not reinstalled. I have ALL the A/C components boxed up to go with the truck.
The two toned Midnight Blue paint is very nice. The truck is RUST FREE, and super straight. Not a full blown show truck, but above average driver for sure. The truck had a topper on it for years and you can tell just how nice the bed floor is because of it. Bumpers, glass, and trim are nice as well.
Here is your chance to own this super cool Rust free C10 truck. This truck is literally grandpa's truck pulled out of the garage and set on the ground. The truck was never a work from new.
There has been a ton of money spent on this truck in the last few months/years. The truck is a blast to drive and turn heads from everyone. I reserve to right to stop the auction at any time for the truck is for sale locally as well. I require a $500 nonrefundable deposit at the end of the auction and payment in full within 5 days. The truck can be seen at any time and please call 615-566-9249 for any further info. Anyone with less than 5 feedbacks must contact me first or I will NOT accept the bid. I can help with shipping if needed. You are bidding to own the truck, NOT the opportunity to purchase then decide.
