This is a very rare custom 1983 Berlinetta Camaro Convertible that is ready to drive and enjoy. It is in very good condition, runs great, and it only has 130,563 original miles. Originally this Berlinetta Camaro was Black and in 1998 it was professionally repainted Red. Since it was last purchased in 2003, this beautiful car has been garage kept and professionally maintained, and it was only driven in great weather.

During the years 1982, 1983, 1984 Chevy Camaro convertibles were not being manufactured. A company in Indiana customized this car and also Trans Am cars of the same years, at the time they were bought off the showroom. This convertible top and the eye catching rear deck lid can be easily removed or reinstalled manually in less than five minutes, and it is still in great working condition and it does not leak in the wet weather.

Custom information: At the time of purchase the top was cut off and the frame reinforced. The Convertible top has a hard roof with soft sides. To remove the top there is a button on console, just push and the rear deck releases, lift up the rear deck and the hard top flips up (handles) into position. Lock down the top to front window frame, then close rear deck and snap down the soft sides of the top. Very easy for one person to put up or take down the top. Very small locked trunk
