Chevrolet Nova 1963 Description
I have for sale a 1963 Nova SS. It is a project car. I bought the car recently with intent of putting a BBC in it. This thought was abandoned when I pulled into my driveway and saw the 3 other project cars and Willys Jeep in line ahead of it. The car has been in storage for 14 years until I bought it.It was a 6 cylinder with a 3 speed on the floor. The original engine is still there. It runs well when gas is poured in the carb. The 3 speed has been replaced with a 5 speed. It has AC. I assume it is not working as the brackets are on the engine, the heater box is in the back seat, and the compressor is in the trunk.
All the trim is there except for driver's driver's side rear quarter. The passenger side door trim is bent but on the car. It is missing the back bumper and the front is bent. The glass is all good.
Body wise it is rusty. It will probably need new fenders and quarters. The hood, doors, roof, and trunk are fine. Theinterior and trunks floor will need replaced. It come with new complete interior floopans. The frame rails where the back bumper brackets attach need repaired.
The interior is pretty complete . It needs redone. All dash trim is there. The original buckets and backseat are in the car. They also need restored. I guess you could leave as is and put your cold beer into the hole of exposed foam between your legs if you prefer. The back half of the console is there the front half is missing. Radio, clock, and glove box door are removed but are in car.
It could be a cool car. It just needs someone to bring the 53 year old survivor back. It is titled . I described it the best I could. If you have questions don't be afraid to ask. I have it for sale locally also. I could end the auction if it does sell locally. Buyer will need to arrange transportation.
