Chevrolet Impala 1968 Description

What I have here is my almost finished 1968 Impala 4dr sports sedan I have been jacked around every way but Sunday.
It is a very long story but I wont go into all of it just some. At the end of 2012 I had bought a 1968 Impala 4 dr sport
sedan and in Jan of 2013 I took it to a local body shop ans as of Nov 2012 all the items I was told I needed I found out
everything I had found was sold the car was primed over rust plus i gave the man 4k up front. Well needless to say I was
already into a 68 so I bought another 1 in Jan 2013 and it was to be done in 6 months and 14 months the car was not done so my son had a long talk with the owner and told him if my car was nor done in 10 days he would be back, well it was done.
What I had done to my car was I had the motor done with .30 over mild cam new lifters. I also changed to a HEI Distributor.
The heads have been done with the original valves.
Brakes have been done with new shoes and drums. (not power).
Body includes new 1/4 skins lower front fender panels a few glass patches in trunk floor sanded primed and painted original
Grotto Blue Metallic.
Interior has been all redone in original material dash has no cracks I have new carpet and carpet under lay (needs installing)
new heater ducting hose and floor vent polished door sill plates. New rear window package tray sail panels and divider from
back seat to trunk to go with a perfect headliner (original) with a polished dome light. It also has redone door panels (installed). It also has new roof rail and door seals along with 1/4 window seals.
All the stainless has been clean and polished by me by hand has a few dings but still awesome, all the marker light bezels are
new with part numbers as are the corner light bezels and lenses the head light rings are in need of work before I put my T-3
bulbs in. Last but not least it has new tires mounted on factory rally wheels. I had to give up working on (Mrs Linda) due to
my health I was told 3 years ago I had the on set of Parkinson's and it would progress and it has so my loss some ones gain.
