Chevrolet Camaro 1967 Description
1967 Chevrolet Camaro convertible, car is in great shape and solid. From the factory it was a 6 cylinder automatic convertible, but has been made into an SS clone. The original engine was swapped out and an LS1 and 4L60E was put in out of a 98 Pontiac trans am. The car runs great and drives good. It has headers, and a great sounding exhaust. Mechanically, the car is strong and the drive train is solid. Comes with a Diablo I 1000 sport tuner. Though this car is very nice and done very well, it still needs a few things to be perfect so here are the cons. The temperature gauge, fuel tank gauge, speedometer and tachometer doesn't work. They need to be hooked up. The oil pressure and volt meter DO work. With the motor swap, they are analog and the gauges are mechanical. the tuner that comes with it will tell you all of these things with the exception of how much gas is in it. Another thing is the headlight doors don't open on a switch. They were changed to electrical and never hooked up. Comes with new headlight bezels that I haven't put on yet. The only other thing that it could use is tires. The Camaro sat for a few years before the motor swap was done, and the tires got flat spots and some dry rot in them. If you live fairly close then I would drive it, but if your going a long distance I personally would trailer it or have it shipped due to the tires. OK now the pros, It's an LS swapped 67 camaro convertible, it's a stunning car to look at and gets tons of thumbs up and looks. The top is in great shape and goes up and down without a problem. The interior is beautiful with one little wear mark on the drivers seat which is in the pictures. The paint is beautiful and shines great. The undercarriage is detailed. I didn't build this car I have just enjoyed it, but with a new baby its just not feesable for me to keep it. The car has no reserve absolute sale the first bid could buy it. If you look at what the other 67 LS swapped camaros are going for this one is surely to be a good deal for someone with minor mechanical work. Has a clean GA title, but will also be sold with a bill of sale. Car is sold as-is and buyer will be responsible for the shipping or pickup of the vehicle. Car is also for sale locally.
