Chevrolet Other Pickups 1936 Description
I have up for auction a all original 1936 CHEVY PICKUP this 80 year old truck was built in California and lived there for 72 plus years until I purchased it outside of Sacramento in Auburn,Ca.,You won't find one in this good of shape body frame and drive train anywhere on the east coast. The cab corners and the bottoms of the doors are, rust free what you see in the PICs is lots of surface rust and scaling that is repairable. The only place I see thats needing attention is the upper A pillar on passenger side. I think that this was originally purchased as farm truck and has mostly all its original parts, if not they have been replaced with original equipment. it sits the way I bought it 8 years ago with the exception of the tires & rims hub caps and I had the generator rebuilt a couple years ago + a new voltage regulator & battery. it was converted to 12v system before I purchased it. It has a clear NJ title in my name registered and insured street legal :) I only drive it around the neighborhood. It has a 235 INL6 stove bolt motor and all original drive train 4 speed granny gear and geared low.The brakes work well the tranny shifts thru all gears. as I said I drive it around the hood. I have the 6 original spoked wheels it came with will be included The original gauges are present, the windshield & door glass is all there but will need replacing. The windshield cranks out the cowl vent works the window regulators work, grill and radiator support are in excellent condition. All the fenders are all steel OEM with the exception of the drivers side rear, but it is steel. Running boards are in great shape also. I have a new original muffler. The seat was recovered and the seat box is in good shape. If your looking for a great start to a rewarding project for the purist this will be a beautiful truck when brought back to its original days, or for the builder who wants to put it on an s10 frame and make it a resto mod you decide.I have considered both of these build options while walking past this truck over the years and can't bring myself to molest this true Heartbeat of America. I can send additional pictures upon request. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO COME AND LOOK IT OVER BEFORE YOU BID . I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime this vehicle is for salelocally. this is an AS IS WHERE IS SALE, NOWARRANTY Sale Is FINAL buyerarrangesfor transportation
