Chevrolet Other Pickups 1957 Description

I am listing this 1957 Chevy 3200 pickup truck for sale for a friend who does not have a computer. The truck is located in Dodd City, exas which is about 75 miles northeast of Dallas, exas. He is selling it due to having retired recently and needing to cut down on the number of vehicles he maintains. I cannot find any rust on this truck anywhere other than a couple of harmless bubbles at bottom of doors, nd there is no evidence of rust repair. According to the owner, ne door needed some body work when the truck was repainted about four years ago, nd that is it. The truck has what we believe to be a 327 V-8 with a new four-barrel carburetor. The engine had new cylinder heads four years ago and a race cam put in it. It definitely has a lope at idle. It has dual exhausts, eaderswith glass-pack mufflers and a new aluminum radiator. It has some add-on gauges under the dash which could be kept or removed. It is currently licensed and driveable anywhere. It has three-speed column shift with a fairly new Muncie 3-speed manual transmission. Tires are steel-belted radials, bout four years old, ith probably no more than 600 miles on them, n like-new condition. The paint is anexcellent quality job about 4 yearsold and you can find one or two small chips in it, s with most 4-year-old paint jobs; the interior is also in good condition, aving been redone a few years ago. The wood in the bed is solid but needs a new coat of varnish, herefore, rubber mat covers it for now. The truck has its original wheels and hubcaps, nd has fairly new rubber seals around the windshield, oors, and back glass. It has been kept garaged.

This is a 3200 series, ith the long, arrow bed, pprox. 7ft.9 inches long. The truck could be kept and driven as-is, r could be put back to original condition without too much work. It's big advantage is the excellent, olid condition of the body and floors. Odometer reads 33,xxx which is probably 133,xxx. Clutch action is smooth, ngine does not smoke nor leak. Exterior chrome emblems are pitted and need to be replated. There is very little clearance between the exhaust headers and the side of the chassis. It hasn't been an issue with the current owner, ut if it bothers you, ou might want to find a set of stock exhaust manifolds and install them.

We are rebidding this truck due to a zero-feedback high bidder last time who did not understand how Ebay works. If you win the auction, ou pay for the truck. Look at it and ask questions beforehand.
