Chevrolet Malibu 1978 Description

This is my 1978 Chevrolet Malibu Landau that I built to be a drag car. I did not do anything to the car that would make it not street legal. I am offering it for sale minus engine and torque convertor only. It is currently has a BBC and 400 turbo with TCI trans brake and Moser M9 fabricated nine inch rear end. 35 spline Moser axles, oser spool, .57 gears in a Moser nodular case. Transmission was originally builtby M&M transmissionin Jeff City,MO for another racer and never used, bought it from the other racer and have not had any issueswith it.10 point mild steel roll cage that was custom bent and TIG welded by a professional chassis shop. I have not had the chassis certed because I have only run low 11s and it is not required at those E.T.s. But there should be no issue having it certed. Rear frame rails are notched for tire clearance. Fuel system is a 8 gallon plastic cell with braided stainless -8 fuel lines, olley Black Fuel pump, uick fuel technologies billet regulator. I run E85 in it but this system will handle alcohol, ethanol, ace fuel, r gas. Good heavy duty aluminum radiator and shroud and electric fan wired on a relay and external trans cooler. Hooker super comp G-body BBC headers are included. Brake system is a manual four wheel disc setup with Biondo line lock and wildwood adjustable prop valvefor the rear. Front calipers are wildwood metric front calipers. Car was originally mint green and I have always planned to put it back to green, nd I left the interior green. Car has black aluminum lower door panels and rear seat delete. A mixture of Autometer and Jegs brand gauges. Mallory digital7 ignition box. Exterior body is in primer. it had some rust when I purchased it, ut most has been cut out and replaced. I never got to a minor spot in front of the passenger rear quarter and the bottoms of both doors. Fiberglass bumper front and rear with custom lightweight bumper mounts. Mickey Thompson front runners are in good shape, ut it is due for new slicks. This auction is for everything listed except the engine and torque convertor. I am willing to keep pretty much any parts off this car that the buyer is not interested in. I am willing to sell this thing as a complete bare shell contact me to discuss.
