Dodge Ramcharger 1985 Description

This was a project I bought recently, ut I have changed my mind and decided to finish another one instead. Idid driveit home, ndthe 360 runs good and the automatic shifts good, t needs a lot of little things. Carb. overhaul,floor carpet, inor door panel repainting and upholstery, he very top of the windshield has some sealer from a leak, he steering column is doing the "fish" thing, hat means its flopping around from bushing or bearings being worn out inside, very common problem for these years, his is the worst problem it has and you can find columns on ebay for around $250, ost of the other things are cosmetic details. It has A/C, ut I never checked it for operation, he power window on the drivers side isn't working. The Carb is an Edelbrock and is probably just gummed up from sitting withold gas in it.

The engine runs real strong and sounds good. Most of the paint looks original with some minor touchup spots I noticed, o rust that I could see, t's a super solid truck and a great project for the home type mechanic. I listed the worst things and the most obvious problems, ut with any older vehicle, ou must figure checking the operation of the brakes, inor oil leaks, nd all the normal maintenance items.
