Up for auction is this running, riving cool little Dodge D100 pickup. These 57s are rare, ts a one year only body style which is why you never see them. The truck is all original with its factoryflathead engine and 3 on the tree manual transmission. It is equipped with what I assume is a factory overdrive unit. Found locally in a barn up on blocks last month. It had been there for the past 20+ years.
We changed the fluids, nstalled a new battery and the old dog fired right up and idled like a sewing machine. We installed a new master cylinder and have brake pedal now. I would expect to replace belts, oses, heel cylinders, ater & fuel pump in the near future, hich are all available online atreasonable prices. The chassis and body is SOLID - very straight with just minor surface rust which gives the truck its great look and patina. Flat glass will need replacing and the windshield has wiper scratches and a couple of small chips but useable. Wood bed is original and old. Seat will need recovering and the cardboard headliner is mostly missing. Wiring all looks to be good and useable. Lights,gaugesand horn are working as well as the generator. Comes with machine shop receipt for complete engine rebuild back before it was parked. It will need tires, hese hold air and thats about it.
