Dodge Challenger 1973 Description

1973 Dodge Challenger 340 CI 4 barrel
Up for your consicderation is a 1973 Dodge challenger. This vehicle is in need of restoration and might make a great project for someone. The gentlemen I purchased this from said he parked this vehicle 10 years ago due to a gas tank leak. The gas tank was removed and there it sat. This has the 340CI motor and he stated that this vehicle has all of its original parts. Matching numbers vehicle ??? no verified as I not sure exactly how to verify but good odds it is. Changed the oil and replaced water pump and started up but definetiley will need to be overhauled. Trans will be need overhaul also as it will drive but is not up to par. Parts I know that are missing include headliner, gas tank, battery ( battery pictured is not included) exhaust tips, 340 hood emblems and probably others that I did not notice. Included is a new heater core for the vehicle. Rust is always a issue on these vintage mopar vehicles. Worst spot seems to be on drivers qtr. panel and it will need to be patched or replaced. Trunk has no rust through and underneath sub frame etc. look to be in good shape. Drivers side floor pan has a rust through spot. Overall a good solid restoration project. Vehicle is avaiable for inspection anytime prior to auctions end. Unknown if mileage on odometer is correct or if hasturned over.Vehicle is SOLD AS IS WHERE IS so please be sure before bidding. Please ask any questions prior to auctions end and bid ACCORDINGLY!!!
GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING
