Dodge Other Pickups 1964 Description
This is an increasingly rare find. This is a 1964 short bed Dodge D100 pickup still wearing it's original paint with a very nice patina. It is an unmolested truck with minimal rust in the rockers. The floors have been replaced and are solid. Carb was just rebuilt and the truck runs excellent. 4 speed on the floor goes through the gears smoothly. Drives and tracks very well. Truck could be a daily driver and has new tires all around. The original blue is a rare color and I've only seen it in the military issued trucks before I found this one. Needs nothing mechanically other than a heater core which is now bi-passed. The truck has it's share of dents and imperfections which fits the patina, rat rod style of truck just fine. All windows roll up and down smoothly, doors shuts smoothly and lock with the original key. All lights, turn signals, horn and gauges work as they should except the fuel gauge which in not accurate. Seat is very nice and was just redone. The original floor mat still is in pretty good condition. There is a small pit in the driver's window but otherwise the glass is all good. Floor of the bed has a slight wave in it like most of these trucks do but no rust. This is a super cool old Dodge truck and these are getting very hard to find in this condition and the prices of these truck are on the rise. This truck does not have the stupid high price I see on trucks not nearly in this condition so it's a great opportunity to get into an excellent project truck that can go any direction or just drive it as it is. I get compliments on this truck nearly every time I take it out. I have a clear title for the truck and will assist with shipping any way I can. If you need to store the truck here for awhile to make shipping arrangements that is no problem as long as it's a reasonable period of time and this is discussed before the auction's end. I do reserve the right to end the auction at any time as I may be advertising the truck in other media. There is a $500 deposit due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. Balance due within 7 days of auction's end. Contact me with any questions prior to bidding. As with any vintage vehicle this truck is sold as is with no warranties expressed or implied. Check my feedback and check the pictures and bid with confidence! On Mar-12-17 at 20:34:15 PDT, seller added the following information:I forgot to mention that the truck does have the sure grip rear end and the tag is on the differential.
