Dodge Coronet 1969 Description
Here is a true survivor barn find 1969 Dodge Coronet 440. Bought new in Cedaredge, CO and has been in Delta County ever since. It has power steering and manual brakes. True 117,000 mile car. Runs and drives like new. I have given it a complete tune up and includes oil change, transmission flush, belts, hoses, thermostat, air and fuel filters, points, plugs, rotor, cap, condenser and wires. I had a leak fixed on the original radiator and repainted it. I installed a new AMD battery tray along with a new battery. The BFG tires have about 250 miles on them. Original wheels and hubcaps. Still has the original spare tire in the trunk! Complete with original jack (dated A9) and trunk mat. This car is "frost green" exterior and is 98% original paint. Only touch up is on the Right Rear quarter where the original owner got up against a car port post. This car is virtually rust free. Still original paint on the rest of the exterior. This is a radio delete car and the delete plate is intact and perfect. The grille, hood, top, left fender, right fender, all 4 doors, both rockers, and both rear quarters are rust free. The LH rocker has a small dent in it. The trunklid has a very small ding in the center rear edge that would be an extremely easy fix if you wished. There is a small dent in the side of the RH fender towards the very front that would likely pop out using paintless dent repair. There is some rust bubbling from under the rear window moldings in the Dutchman panel. It is not through and would also be an easy fix. This car was undercoated by the dealer and itis still doing its job. The frame is perfect. All glass is very nice except the windshield which is cracked. The doors close effortlessly and all of the glass go up and down easily and all 4 door locks work perfectly. There is zero crazing or pitting on any piece of chrome inside or outside! The bumpers are ding free and true and straight. All of the trim is in very good condition including the rear tail light panel. All of the lenses are original and not cracked. The 318 simply purrs and makes an astonishing amount of power for its size. No noise or smoke. The transmission shifts smoothly with no slipping. Exhaust system is fine, shocks are fine, brakes are fine, the fuel gauge, alternator gauge, temperature gauge, heater, and wipers work fine. The lights, flashers, and turn signals all work. The original trico wipers are included as is a new AMD battery hold down. The speedometer needle was bouncing so I unhooked it so as to not damage it. The starter could use replaced as it sometimes doesn't "catch". I have not gotten the horn to work yet but really haven't spent much time at it. There are a couple of pinholes in the entire trunk area. I did touch up the paint on the trunk pan area under the factory mat. It is as nice as they come. The seats need redone as does the headliner. The rear seat still has the plastic on it! The dash pad is cracked but not torn. The door panels are extremely nice. The rear ash trays have never had a butt in them. The glove box and lower dash padding is perfect. The car is plated, insured, registered, and is driven every day.It does not wander on the road even at 80 m.p.h. and is a ball to drive. Lots of thumbs up!! The title is a clear CO title in my name only.I am the 3rd owner. This would be a superb movie set prop car!Bid to own!! Car is located at 722 Silver St. Delta, CO 81416.
