Dodge Coronet 1970 Description
This is a nice driver quality car and not to forget to mention its pretty rare too. I drive it only on sunny days to shows cruise ins and distance day trips always with the top down and it gets looks and plenty of positive comments. It starts drives and runs very nice it is quiet gets good gas mileage if you stand next to it you can barely tell its running. At 70 mph it feels like its floating on air going down the highway. Air shocks on the rear give it a slight rake. The numbers match radiator keeps it cool it appears to have been recored. By no means is it perfect. It has had a repaint but can't tell you when that happened. However it still shines and looks good at 10 feet away. You can see scratches and dirt in the paint behind the rear wheels there is evidence of amateur body work but still shows straight body lines. The interior appears to be original it all looks good except the passenger seat has a couple of seam splits. The carpet is fairly new. The interior floor pan is really nice trunk floor has some surface rust but no holes and the entire frame is solid. Both bumpers have been rechromed some time ago and are still nice. The grilles are very nice. Top appears to be original and goes up and down like it should which is good enough if your gonna keep it down all the time like I do. Otherwise you might want to consider replacing it back window is good. All the glass is very good. All instruments work except the factory temp gauge it is disconnected in lieu of an aftermarket gauge under the dash using its sender. Everything works as it should. Dash pad is perfect and dash itself is really nice. The wood wheel is nice and it is not cracked. Both rear ash trays are missing. Trunk lid trunk lid edge chrome and tail panel trim are exceptionally nice condition if not excellent. The bumper jack with 1104 hook is there with a spare tire. Zoom in on all the pics using your computer screen and you can see it is a pretty nice car. you can see the rallye rims and tires are in really nice condition Recent replacement parts include rear brake shoes rubber valve cover gaskets u joints radiator hoses don't know when but the starter has been replaced with a high torque unit. Car is sold as is where is. No warranty/guarantee .$500 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT due immediately after the auction ends. Shipping costs and sourcing are the responsibility of the buyer.
