This nicely-restored Fargo Power Wagon belongs to a widow whose husband recently passed. The truck is located in Southern Quebec Canada. not far from the NY State border. near Malone. Here is what she has written about the truck:"This handsome 1956 Fargo Power Wagon surfaced in 2011 when Mr. Robert Labelle completed its restoration. My late husband Nick and I traveled to St. Jerome in the early Spring of 2012 to purchase this prized vehicle. It took 1st prize in the "restored truck" category at the 27th annual Chateauguay Valley Antique Association show. It was my husband's pride and joy. "The photos show the truck's current state. It is stored indoors in a clean and large garage. This truck is re-listed because some of the information which I had in the original listing was inaccurate. I am selling this vehicle to assist the widow who inherited the truck from her late husband. The widow originally informed me that the truck was a 1956. regardless of the registration and other documentation which clearly state that the year of this truck is 1960. She had discussed the truck with friends and family who had told her that because the syncro-mesh transmission had been introduced in 1957. and her late husband had told her to always "double-clutch" when shifting. that the truck must be an earlier model. She then decided that the registration year must have been incorrect. She is also off in describing the year in which the truck was purchased. as it was appraised in her late-husband's name in January 2011. This truck is registered in her name and has a clear registration (no liens). Quebec does not have 'Titles' for vehicles.
