Dodge Coronet 1966 Description

This car is over 50 years old but for its age it's a beauty. The paint appears to be original. It does have some scratches yes maybe a dent or two but a great driver. there is minimumrust a pea size on the pass side and 2" spot on the driver side shown in pictures. I could not find any rust under the vehicle while on a lift aside from one spot on the inner driver quarter extension also shown in pictures. The one photo is of the driver floor which is the most common one to rust through this one is flawless.and no repairs on this car. The head liner appears to have been replaced it looks good. Since it's a 500 it has the factory bucket seats and floor shift console. The carpet looks new aside from wear on the driver floor it would need to be replaced to look new. Floor mat would cover the driver carpet wear. Now the best part. The engine. I bought a 1966 Chrysler new yorker a few years ago that had 57k miles on it was hit hard in the rear and parked over 30 years ago. The old guy would start it every so often to keep the battery up and oil through everything. He kept it in an old warehouse full of other mopars. He died and his boy sold everything. I found this 1966 coronet and knew this was the car for this 440 power train. I installed new belts,Hoses where needed oil & filter, plugs and wires, motor mounts and transmission mounts. serviced the 57k mile 727 automatic transmission when I opened the pan to replace the filter and adjust bands. it was flawless no burn smell fluid was nice and red no debriseverything was in adjustment and looked new. The rear end is a 355 8.75. The headlight bezels and grill are in great shape and are off getting painted .I do not believe you will find another car in this good of shape that has not be restored. This will make a great daily driver or a very very easy restore to perfect show condition.
