Dodge Lancer 1962 Description

I bought this vehicle in 9/2009 from a private seller in North Carolina. I've noted the areas of rust above but did have the car repainted in 2010. Interior is very nice and was done in correct time style. I bought and installed radio and speaker. Original A/T went out about 8 months ago and installed a used one bought from yard in Minnesota. To avoid any slippage from 2nd to 3rd, you can manually shift from 2nd to 3rd. Has dealer installed A/C but have never used, so may not work. Repainted in original Teal color. Very recently had outer tie rods put on, new rear leaf springs installed, and I put on some new shocks. Have put a great deal of time, money, and care into the car. I've owned Lancers and Valiants for the last 46 years so I'm finally moving out of the old car hobby. Will include a workable jack and spare tire. All tires in very good shape. All doors lock and has separate key for ignition. To give some idea of money put into car, the rear trunk emblem cost $300.00. Brakes are good but my mechanic shop didn't bleed very well, so you have to pump once or twice. Engine runs very well but somewhat noisy as needs new gasket between intake and exhaust manifold. As you can see from photos, car still looks great and still turns a lot of heads. Selling 'As Is' with some attention needed for rust areas. No guarantees impled. Thank you for bidding.
