Dodge Other Pickups 1993 Description

1993 Dodge D250 Cummins Turbo-Diesel in original, unrestored condition. This truck is 2WD!!
I bought this truck in 2012 and it has been one of the best trucks I have ever owned. The only reason I'm selling it is because I bought a new one.
The Cummins engine starts right up and runs like it should. The engine is totally stock with the exception of a K&N factory type replacement air filter. It has always let out a small puff of black smoke when it starts up but clears up almost immediately. I was told this is normal. It has never overheated or consumed oil. It gets 22-24 mpg on average in mixed driving conditions. It does have typical residual oil leaks as to be expected with a 25 year old vehicle. It has had regular oil changes every 3000 miles with Rotella 15-40. The transmission is original and has typical wear associated with the vehicle age and mileage but still shifts through all the gears properly. It does have a slight oil leak out of the tail shaft as well. I've have checked the fluid level at every oil service and have not had to add oil to it within the last 10k miles. It can also be a bit jerky when releasing the clutch especially in reverse. I was told when I bought it that the previous owner had put a more heavy duty clutch in it and that was the reason why it was rough to engage. However, I have no records or proof that it was replaced. It's never been a problem for me. It pulls hard and drives down the road straight like it should. Has been upgraded to a Borgeson steering shaft. Brakes are solid.
The A/C is ice cold and has always worked properly. The interior is original and in decent shape. Factory cloth seat shows typical wear but has no tears. Headliner is in decent shape. This is the base model with factory manual windows and rubber flooring which is a rare find with the cummins engine option. The speedometer, odometer and all other gauges work correctly. It has a period correct kelsey-hayes trailer brake controller which works. All of the glass is in good shape. I am a NON-smoker and do not have animals ride inside the cab. It has a sony CD player with a usb port. The driver's side wind-wing and rear window cab access make some wind noise when driving at highway speed.
Body is in good shape with minor chips and scratches. I had it repainted in 2012 when I first bought it. The front bumper has some minor surface rust but the rest of the truck is rust free. Yes, completely rust free. No blisters, No Bubbles... NO BS. I have always kept it garaged and the previous owner did as well. The bed has scratches from use. The tailgate has a small ding on the edge, the right rear tail light lens has a crack and the license plate illumination light lenses are both cracked and broken. The lights themselves still work. The rest of the lights work as well. The spare tire is bed mounted. The factory jack and lug wrench are missing. I have always had a canopy on it with the appropriate tools so I have never bothered to replace the factory tools. It has a decent set of load range E (10 ply) tires in good condition with plenty of tread left.
This truck has a clear Oregon title in my name. I have the original owners manual as well. The license plates do not come with the truck unless you are an Oregon resident and can show me proof of transfer of ownership from the dmv. If you choose to drive it home, I will help you source a State of Oregon trip permit to do so legally before you arrive.
The truck currently has a nearly full tank of fuel as well.
This has been a great truck for us over the last 5 years and we are a bit reluctant to sell it. This truck currently has no obvious problems or obvious impending problems that need immediate attention that I am aware of. It is, however, a 25 year old truck with 160k miles in originalcondition. With that being said, please understand that this vehicle is being sold as-is, where-is with no warranty written, expressed or implied. It is the buyer'sresponsibility to perform all necessary DueDiligence before placing a bid. This auction is held with "No Reserve" and the highest bidder willown this truck.
The truck shall be paid for with either cash in hand on the day of pick-up or a cashier's check mailed in advance to allow time for funds to clear. I will not release the truck until I amsatisfied with all funds in my possession. There will be a non-refundable $500 deposit required within 24hrs of auction close viaPayPal. The balance shall be received within 7 days. No exceptions. The truck will be located at my property inMcMinnville, Oregon zip code 97128. I will be willing to hold the truck here for up to a month to allow you time to get your shipping arrangements made. However, the truck must be paid for within 7 days of the auction close.
I have been aneBaymember for over 10 years with a 100% positive feedback mostly as a seller. I have both bought and sold ahand-fullof carsoneBay through their auction system so please restassured that my intent is to be both forthcoming and transparent.
I also have a Gem Top all steel canopy with a custom made heavy-duty ladder rack. Low profile design with just 81"clearance... so it will fit into most residential garages and sparking garages. It does not come with the truck but isavailable for purchase to thewinning bidder separately for an extra $250.
Onceagain the canopy/rack are not included in the auction and do not come with truck. It's an extra $250 on top of the final winning bid.
