Dodge Challenger 1970 Description
You are bidding on a original 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T. Car was an original 383 four barrel (don't have the original engine) Its a Rust free California car which spent most of its life on the west cost and just brought out to the east cost in the last six months. The original 383 was replaced with a 100% Complete 1970 440 6 pack motor, complete from air cleaner to HP exhaust manifolds, 6 pack rods, etc. 727 Auto Tranny with slap stick shifter. Runs Great. Have Build sheet an a whole history book of information including past owners, maintenance, etc. Heavily opt'd car with Power brakes, disc up front, power steering, 8 3/4 posi rear with 3:55 gears, rallye dash w/ tach, three speed wiper, center console, side stripe, power bulge hood, dual exhaust, exhaust tips (not original ones on there now), black vinyl top, bucket seats, drip rail moldings, Chrome mirrors both sides with drivers remote & premium sound system with fader knob, SEE FENDER TAG Pic.
Car is Burnt Orange w/Burnt Orange interior. Car built in the Dodge Los Angeles plant. This is a clean driver or perfect car for a full restoration or just drive it. Road Ready.
The car has all its original sheet metal and non is in need of replacement. Floor & trunk pans and frame rails are good & solid as well.
The car looks like it was painted once in its life. The interior and exterior do show signs of age. There is a rust bubble on the top of the drivers fender and under the vinyl top. The paint shows signs of wear and the decal is worn off in some spots. Misc. door dings but no substantial damage. The front fender and hood chrome are dinged up as well as the chrome that wraps the ends of the quarter panels and the trunk lid. The dash pad is original and cracked, the front seats need new buns but no rips or tears. console lid is scratched up. Again, its not been restored but is in excellent original shape, especially for being 47 years old. Basically, Normal wear and tear. Will deliver for free within 200 miles for BIN.
