Dodge Other 1984 Description

1984 Dodge Diplomat.
89,000 miles
318ci v8. Equipped with an intake from a 360 and an edelbrock 1407 4bbl carbeurator.
A904 Transmission, .25" rear end.
Originally owned by the New Jersey water authority and used in service until the mid 90's where it then sat in storage.
In 2003 or there abouts, t was sold at auction and used in the 2005 Movie RENT. I have been in contact with an individual at the casting company that purchased the vehicle and was able to obtain the photo of the car as it appeared in the movie. After its role in the movie, t was then again sold at auction to a friend of mine in 2006. This vehicle entered a local "pimp my ride" style contest and was nominated to receive a full makeover. Including the Original Porsche yellow paint job, he American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels, long with all new suspension and steering components, s well as a serious stereo system. The Radio speakers and amplifier are long gone, tolen soon after they were installed. There is a custom built enclosure in the trunk which holds three 10'' subwoofers (speakers not included)
I purchased this vehicle last winter when my friend moved. Drove fine last summer and I even replaced the brakes all the way around because the rotors were warped and the parking brake hardware had seized up. Earlier in the spring I re-wrapped all the door interior panels in navy blue ostrich leather, eplaced all the window cranks, nd lubed all of the window glass regulators. I planned to install a custom ostrich leather headliner, ut Ive run out of time. The carpet is also brand new. The carbeurator has maybe 400 miles on it. And I believe the coolant temp sensor has gone bad (reads cold all the time). I never had any issues with this car running hot, o I never fixed the sensor.
This car has never been driven in the winter and has very little rust.
*THE RUST IN THE PICTURES IS THE ONLY RUST ON THIS CAR*
