This project can be purchased in its current state and sold as is so you can have this beautiful real 1969 Dodge Charger SE finished and ready to go for this car show season. All the major hard work has been completed. All major pieces are here and ready to go. No disappointments by the quality of this car. This piece of American history will bring back your high school days by owning arguably one of the best muscle cars ever built. The Charger has been set up with a fresh rebuild on it's ground ponding original born with big block engine. The engine block was taken all the way down and bored 30 over with brand new pistons and rings. Followed by the crank shaft being machined to the finest tolerances with brand new bearings. The cylinder heads have had a 3 angle valve job with new seats and guides with a new camshaft and valve train rocker asm. The original Torque Flight 727 automatic transmission has been fully rebuilt with the finest parts including clutches and seals for that crisp firm shift. With factory floor shifter in a center console. The front suspension has new heavy duty ball joints installed. The rear has new leaf springs for that factory quality ride. This charger came with the rare Kelsey Hayes front disk brake set up. This Charger has been professionally completely striped down to bare metal and installed on a rotisserie so all panels could been repaired or replaced for that laser straight body lines. Car than was completely sealed and primed inside and out with the finest quality products. Only after hours of block sanding was several coats of B5 blue factory blue and buried in clear coat. The car than went through hours of painstaking wet sanding and polishing for that mile deep mirror like finish. The Charger had a vinyl top installed just like the muscle cars of this era. The underside sheet metal of this car has been a completely sealed and primed followed by a healthy coat of semi gloss black for that clean look. The interior has brand new carpet and door panels installed. The SE seats where fully recovered in factory black leather. This is an early production 1969 vehicle which means no headrest in the seats for that perfect look you get from cruising with the windows down in a factory hard top. The car is and original A/C car that has had the a/c heater box installed under the dash and original style a/c compressor for that ice cold air on those hot summer nights. The glass has been replaced with all Mopar star etched glass for that crystal clear view when driving. Brand new front and rear bumpers installed with an original factory grill that is in excellent shape. All the hard work is done and all the hard to find pieces are here. Some of the parts needed to finish this car include gas tank. engine radiator. power steering pump. some a/c lines. exhaust from the manifolds back. tires. brakes. and some misc trim pieces.
