1999 Series Iron Hi Nickel Alloy 426 Mopar Performance Block/M/P 4340 crank 4.250 bore/4.150 stroke=472 cu. in.
Cylinder heads:M/P Aluminum 2.400 x1.940-5/16 dia., tem stainless valves matched, orted and flowed by Westar Performance.
Camshaft: Engle solid flat tappet w/shubeck lifters spec's proprietary. Battle ship valve springs w/titanium retainers & keepers to secure the valves in place
Valve Train: Manton 3/8 push rods-KB stands & shaft w/Indy roller rockers.
Oiling System: M/P oil pump/Milodon 6 qt. pan-Valvoline racing oil.
Induction/Exhaust: Indy 426-2 intake w/Wilson 1" carb spacer-100cfm H>P> Holley flowed & tuned by Westar Performance. TTl built the 2-1/8" exhaust tubes w/3" collectors mated w/TTl-XB3" pipes connected by dynomax mufflers to damp the noise.
Fuel: 15 gallon fuel cell @ trunk-filled with F&L-SP3-113 octane fuel fed thru M/P 8.0 psi mechanical pump.
Ignition: MSD 8546 Mechanical advance Pro Billet distributor controlled by a 6200 box, elivering current to 8mm Taylor wires firing Champion spark plugs.Cooling System: 69 Camaro 396 type radiator with special tubes installed in the 4 row core, 60 degreeF thermostat flowing GM Dex-cool/deionized water mix/derale 5 qt. extra capacity transmission pan with cooling turbulators as well as two transmission oil coolers a the radiator core. Trans cooling being monitored by an Auto Meter GS temp gauge. Electrical: Complete Ron Francis wiring set-up with push button directional signals.
Dyno Pulls: 814 HP @ 6300 rpm/684 ft. lbs. torque @ 4500 RPM @ 192.7 degree F Street driven only.
Transmission: TCl 727 Super Street Fighter with 10" 3000/3500 TCl stall converter lubricated with B&M trick shift t/fluid shifting is manual forward/TCl Outlaw Shifter.
Rear End: Strange Engineering Ford 9" w/SVO limited slip, iff, /Strange-Richman 4:11 ring & pinion supported with Strange Pro-race axles.
Chassis Front: "K" member moved 10" forward; rear 3rd member moved 10" forward with a Chris Alston housing secured with a full 4-link suspension controlled with Koni adjustable shocks front & rear, lston 10 point roll cage NHRA legal tubed with original rear frame rails still intact!!!
Tires/Wheels: To keep old tradition while keeping drivability under control, rare pair of American 15x7 positive offset tork-thrust D's were installed on Remington Emerald P-214-65R tires. As for rears, pair of Weld 15x15Aluma stars with 3" backspacing mounted on Mickey Thompson's 31x18.5-15 Lt's.
Brakes: Stopping power is available through 11" Wilwood 4 piston disc brakes up front with secondary assist at the rear with Danny Miller's 11" rear early Lincoln shoes & drums.
Body: The PPG Citrus Pearl Green Iridescent w/Black Pearl as well as the exquisite body work was applied by my craftsmen at Westar Performance. Front fenders are carbon fiber, hile the hood scoop bumpers are fiberglass. Total Vehicle Weight: 3470 lbs. without driver.
Interior: Design & fabrication by Westar Performance. Door and rear side panels as well as headliner are original units. DJ 2" safety harness - driver & passenger.
Build Cost: $124,134.00.
Completion Date: 06-19-2004.
First owner; have original broadcast sheet; vehicle had 52,000 miles when project started. Never wrecked - no rust. Has been in the family since 1965, urchased from Atlantic Dodge in East Los Angeles when Charlie Allen was campaigning the Atlantic Dodge Flyer A/FX Funny Car.
