INDY SR-2 Aluminum heads (Stage II Ported) fastened to .060 steel shim head gaskets (reduced compression for street/pump gas!) Stainless Valves, Harland Sharp 1:5 Roller Rockers, Street Cam installed for pump gas operation (Comp Cams 588 lift/297 Duration), 63' dated Crossram, Edlebrock 750 cfm Carbs regulated @ 6 psi monitored via cowl mounted fuel gage. Engine mounted on one piece aluminum motor plate to frame rails for strength and ease of maintenance/engine swaps. New Mini Starter (wrapped), Rebuilt Steering Box & Coupler Assy, Mopar Performance Master Cylinder (1" Piston) stops this beast with ease. $1K invested in coolilng system. New 4 Core Aluminum Radiator, Hi Flow Aluminum Water Pump and Housing, March Underdrive Pulleys all keep this monster running on the street in 90 Degree Florida Heat at 180-190 Degrees...a much debated feat I recently demonstrated to a Mopar Buddy from Ohio on a spirited blast to Ft. Myers Beach!(along with a few other cooling secrets I learned from these Florida boys...it can be done and I did it!) This combo is a BEAST on 94 Octane PUMP GAS, s legally tagged and insured on the street and can still turn a 10.50 1/4 mile with ease. With Big Cam, 4.56 Spool and regular head gaskets installed she has 10 passes on the track, best time was 9.60. There are approx 600 street miles since switching to smaller cam, 10" street Convertor, .060 steel shims and 3.54 Posi unit. $4K total invested in Transmission/Convertor built by Mopar Trans Guru Ben @ Enhanced Trans Cleveland, OH. Ben says "If this Trans ever fails...I wanna see why!" Built indestructable with Turbo Action Manual Valve body connected to original PUSH BUTTONS (gotta keep it old school!) and wrapped with a custom fabricated 2 piece Alloy Trans Shield that encompasses entire case (for Safety just in case!) New Mopar Performance 10" Torque Convertor, 3800 stall. Custom Balanced Alloy Driveshaft with BIG JOINTS protected by driveshaft loops fore and aft connect to a Strange Engineering Super 60 (DANA) Rear Diff with DISC BRAKES and 1" studded axles ($3500 shipped). New Detroit Track Lock ($2000) with 3.54 geared Posi installed (Indestructable!) set up by Henderson Driveline Cleveland. New 31" Tall Mickey Thompson ET STREETS on Drag Lites make this a very streetable fun car. Fuel is managed via 20 Gallon Fuel Cell & Holley Pump with solid 3/8" aluminum fuel line and regulator. I've NEVER had any issues with Vapor lock or fuel boililng. Cal Trac Bars really launch this car arrow straight! Adjustable shocks front and rear. Custom street exhaust fabricated with 4" Header Mufflers that exit ahead of rear wheels and is legal. I have an additional complete street exhaust fabricated that I used in Ohio with cut outs that exit under fenders, running back to Flow Master 40's that also exit @ rear wheels. Both exhausts are designed identically to mount on custom hangers in 20 minutes...goes with car. This is all wrapped in an all STEEL RUST FREE Straight Body with fresh VIPER RED Paint in 2013. Paint is more flat and shiny than most "show cars" at local cruises. People ask who painted car and did this work...I smile and point to myself with help of an older friend who knows his craft..."THANKS RONNIE in BEREA OHIO! An entire Ohio Winter was spent blocking an already straight body. A shop would charge $8-$10K for this level of work. Only body modifications are Tied Sub-Frames, 3" strips added to width of rear wheel lips to comply with 10" tire width rule in N/SS Max Wedge rules on track and top centers of rear wheel lips rolled to allow clearancing for 32" tall tires on track. Body is UNCUT wearing original quarter panels, fenderwells, floors, trunk...everything. Roll Cage is properly installed to frame/sub frame kickers. Car was never twisted and launches arrow straight. All body gaps are even and straight. Interior has original headliner, door panels sans carpet and seats. Pro Car buckets installed are comfortable, mounted on Tig Welded Super Stock Lightweight Seat Tracks. Dash is uncut and nice. Tinted Plexi side door glass on straps slide in window tracks (Super Stock Style), Tinted 1/4 Plexi glass fixed/mounted and custom Polymer (Bullet Proof) windshield, original back glass. I have original window regulators and glass with car. Steel hood with functional Scoop, nice stainless trim and bezels, rechromed bumpers and tail light bezels, new drivers mirror, few minor scratches in grill that can be polished out. Undercarriage is spotless, POR 15 and top coated black and washes easily. Doors shut tight on new fuzzy seals. Monster Tach, Shift light, Auto Gages monitor vitals. Fire Extinguisher on board. Car has dual electrical system. Headlight, turn, brake, signal, interior and dash lights are on original fuse box. Engine management is handled by a custom 8 circuit (painless style) box mounted on glove box door for easy access. Everything about this car was built/designed with common sense and ease of maintenance in mind. I have personally touched every fastener, screw and piece of this car multiple times over the years! The car is simply stunning to look at and is a hit everywhere it goes! I've known this car for 20 years and have enjoyed playing with her but it's time to pass her on. I moved to Florida last year and liquidated a Mopar collection except for this one I brought down. I just wasn't quite done sinking more $$$, sweat and heart into her and completing the conversion to street duty. Many said it couldn't be done...I did it! She's an incredible Hot Rod, Reliable, Fast and definately NOT FOR THE MEEK! She's VERY RED and a WILD EXTREME MACHINE that is very manageable and a blast to drive. It's always hard to wipe that "stupid boy smile" off my face everytime I climb behind the wheel of this beast! I've cruised her up I-75 to Punta Gorda (quickly) several times without issue and cruised her all around Fort Myers Beach area and never breached 195 degrees, even sitting at traffic lights. I'm closing the books on a 35 year Mopar career. This car is the pinnacle of all of my well earned years of Mopar knowledge through help of many dear friends, many departed. You will be thrilled to PUNCH THOSE BUTTONS AND PUSH THE GO PEDAL! JUST BE CAREFUL! I'm headed out on the Gulf with a fishing pole and new water toys on the back 9 of life. I'm sure there is more I'm forgetting but this is the big stuff off the top of my head. I have a clear Ohio Title in my name. Feel free to call me at 239-980-1395 to discuss car. Local pick up only. Thanks to all and GOD BLESS!
