Dodge Charger 1966 Description
Up for sale is a 1966 Sublime green HEMI Dodge Charger. This classic car has a ton of character and is being sold “as is”. You can’t take this car anywhere without being noticed and receiving a lot of “thumbs up”. We love this car but have decided to purchase a new vehicle in its place. This car is an excellent example of a resto-mod Mopar muscle car that you will not see many of.Car is Sublime Green and is in really good shape considering the age. It was restored just a couple of years ago and has had a lot of great “modern” accessories. Within the last year it has had a new Griffin Aluminum Muscle Car Radiator and updated Right Stuff Detailing disc brakes added on all four wheels.
One of the most beautiful features of this beauty is her engine. Under the hood you will find a 5.7 naturally aspirated engine Hemi with duel 4 barrel Carbs. Engine is out of a 2006 Charger but has a number of add-ons like 6.1 Hemi RPM Dual Quad Mopar Performance intake, wo 625 cfm Thunder series AVS Edlebrock carburetors and Edlebrock high-tech progressive throttle linkage. The cam has been upgraded to a Spartan cam. The lifters and valve springs replaced with 6.7 Hemi parts. Timing is all handled with a MSD 6 ignition. The 727 torque flight transmission has a fresh rebuild with a mild shift kit. New Hughes Racing torque converter. New gas tank, uel pump and stainless steel fuel lines. With this motor you get the look and feel of a 1966 Hemi with the reliability and power of a new gen 3 modern Hemi.
Front suspension was recently upgraded with Moog and Hotchkis parts and a fresh wheel alignment.Car does have one dent on the driver’s side lower panel but other than that no significant denting or issues. Gauge cluster in the car are not currently operational but are in good shape for restoration.
Current asking price is $37,500. We also have a 1950 DeSoto Custom for sale. Will to negotiate price if you have interest in purchasing both vehicles. Serious inquiries only please.
This car has much more than can be listed. Come take a look and you will not be disappointed. Local Pick Up Only.
