Dodge Coronet 1951 Description

Very rare 1951 Dodge Coronet Sierra Station Wagon. It was delivered to Duluth Minnesota from the factory on a rail flatcar August 4 1951 on its way to Kopus Motor Cpmpany. The local Mobile station owner Mr. Morgan had the contract to prepare new vehicles prior to delivery. He liked the vehicle so much he bought it on the spot. Mr. Morgan used the wagon in summer months for 14 years before storing it in 1965. I took the vehicle out of storage in 1998 and remain its second and current owner.The car features a flat head 6 cylinder engine developing 103 horsepower a 6 volt electrical system 4 hydraulic drum brakes with 2 wheel cylinders for each front wheel all steel body work with a wooden cargo area bias-ply tiresa V-type windscreen and a semi-automatic transmission. The vehicle has provenance from the original date of purchase.
