Dodge Polara 1966 Description

Known affectionately as, The fastest Love Seat in Georgia". :) I am selling a very solid 1966 Dodge Polara. I have enjoyed this car as a daily driver, ut I am making room for other projects I am interested in.

Car starts up every time, dles steady. Big growl of the newly rebuilt 440ci engine on startup. New suspension ensures a very comfortable, mooth ride. Quick car.

The details are as follows:

Mileage: 92,104 (original to the best of my knowledge)

VIN: DL43G66207175

• Newly rebuilt 440ci, pprox 400hp original motor (less than 1,000 miles on build) rebuild was over $4K

• Power steering

• Power brakes (drums all around but work great)

• Original CERT card in engine bay!

• Car was built in Tennessee and was originally off white color (inner trunk lid shows original color)

• Car always garaged and in southern states (TN and Ga only)

• Factory AC - all parts there, ust needs recharged

• Original interior, xcellent overall condition (light blue pattern with silver blue/grey vinyl trim)

• Headliner in perfect (same blue color)

• Entire dash looks brand new. No fading, racking, arping, nything...looks like it did when it rolled off of assembly line.

• Seats are very comfortable. Bench seats front and rear.

• NO rust at all. (Very minor surface in trunk but almost not noticeable)

• Seat belts (lap) front and rear (blue)

• Brand new wheels (16" black gloss racing wheels, 1400)

• Newer tires

• Brakes redone all around

• All glass intact and in great condition...no fogging, hips, r cracks

• All badges trim intact and correct for car.

• Car is lowered a few inches but can be raised to desired height.

• New battery

• All gauges, ncluding horn work properly, xcept for factory radio (radio is there and is original just not working...looks as new as dash does)...I prefer the music of the 440!!

• All lights work properly, ignals etc.

• New dual exhaust with mufflers front to back

• Emergency brake functions as it should

• No leaks anywhere on this car. Very tight, olid car.

• Undercarriage is solid as a rock. Very clean, o rust issues at all.

• Lines are very straight on car. No know accidents ever.

• Fender skirts are included. Wrapped in trunk.

• Custom car cover included with car (in trunk as well)

The daily driver areas of opportunity:

• Mechanically, he car is fantastic

Cosmetically, here are a few chips and dings I want to outline:

• Chrome/bright work - driver quality. Front bumper very nice overall. Rear bumper is rough in places, ut from 10 feet looks very presentable. No serious dents...mostly just some surface scratches, r light tarnishing of chrome.

• Side trim is again driver quality. Rear passenger side has one clip missing that will need reattached (very easy access inside trunk)

• Rubber seals around doors, indows in very nice, bove average condition. Very pliable...still has good black color to it. Car is never driven in the rain, ut I do not believe anything would leak if it was.

• Front driver's seat - small tear in blue vinyl on the back and outside seat portion. I was able to find (after 6 months of searching) the exact vinyl fabric for this vehicle. I purchased 4 yards of the material ($300) but never got around to repairing it as it never bothered me...and still doesn't). The material is included with the car and would be plenty to re-cover any future rips or tears down the road.

• Windows, ncluding front vent windows all work great, ut the back passenger window seems to take a little more effort to crank up and down. (I believe with more use it would operate just fine).

The car is really a great MOPAR. Certainly not a Challenger or some other super high priced MOPAR, ut it is certainly an awesome car that I have thoroughly enjoyed owning. It has honestly been the most reliable classic car I have owned thus far. Starts every time, ever stalls, nd I love the comfort of driving it. The steering wheel and gauges look phenomenal on the 66 models in my opinion. Round clusters with deep inset gauges just look great, nd very MOPAR.

Awesome, olid, eliable, adass MOPAR for a reasonable price. Could make a crazy cool low rider as well. Wheel wells have plenty of room for dropping or bagging this beast.

I am more than happy to send videos or startup, dle, ights, ignals, tc and additional pics of anything you want. I have nothing to hide and want to be very straightforward throughout this process.

The state of Georgia does not require a Title on classic vehicles. I have the Bill of Sale for this car which is very typical in Georgia. Please be sure to check your own state's transfer process so there are no unexpected challenges should you be the winning bidder.

Car is being sold as is and I outlined everything to the very best of my knowledge. I encourage any inspections, nd driving the car when feasible. You won't be disappointed if/when you do!

I reserve the right to end the auction at any time should the vehicle sell through other means. I wish you the best in the auction and I look forward to handing over the keys to a car I love to the next lucky owner.

Will entertain shipping domestically, nd internationally as long as funds have cleared. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Cheers!
