Dodge Ram 2500 1959 Description

1959 DODGE D200 PICKUPBarn Find!
I'm selling this barn find with amateur (roller) paint job for a friend. My buddy was driving this around town 6 weeks ago. Currently won't start. Think it just needs a good tune up. This is a barn find project truck. It's possible that the right guy could have this all tuned up and driving in a weekend--but no guarantees. What you see is what you get. Box is from a Ford pickup. (You probably could change the tailgate to a Dodge one and no one would know it's a Ford box.) Has rust here and there, ut overall body is above average. Horn works. Brakes work. Headlights work. Dash light works. Missing key--currently turns over with a screw driver. Blinkers don't seem to be working. Battery is newer and does take a charge. Tires don't look half bad, ut they could be old. Tires don't seem to be too weathered, hough. I think the bezels for the front cornering lights are in the glove box. Emergency brake works. Wood is missing from box floor--a sheet of plywood is just lying in there.Has been run on a kicker 5 gallon gas tank in box. Probably needs the gas tank cleaned out. Don't know a whole lot about this truck, ut to the right guy it's a pretty good start to a project. Looks great from 30 feet. Plenty of decent sheet metal with some panels with rust around the edges. Floors have some sheets of metal sitting over holes that need to be welded or riveted in. It's a project. But it's kind of cool looking. This is a No Reserve auction. Please only bid on this if you have the money now and are ready to follow through with your transaction. A $200 deposit is due through PayPal within 24 hours of auction end.
